Online presence

Online presence during a coronavirus outbreak

. "One of the big lessons of 2020 is that you can never be too prepared," says Tamás Vedres, founder of Flybuilt.

Perhaps the only difference between Covid's 'windfall' and the difficulties of entrepreneurship in the traditional sense is that we have now had it all at once. Regardless of what we do, it has challenged us all (and continues to do so at the moment). The question is how we respond and how quickly.

Just a few decades ago, doing business with a computer would have been science fiction. Even today, some companies prefer to do business in the traditional way; some businesses, such as plumbing, have to work offline. Even so, the potential of an online business is often hard to beat.

This is what an entrepreneur needs to understand best: change

However, having to deal with the difficulties at the same time makes us more open to solving the problem, because all the "safe" methods we thought we had so far are not applicable. We have the opportunity to observe, change and create something new at the same time.

A Flybuilt studio is how it happened.

Individually, we have a wealth of knowledge, but by applying it together, many workflows are shortened and become a reality in no time. For the majority of SMEs living and working in Hungary, their online presence is often limited to being registered on a social media platform (they have a Facebook profile, which in many cases is not an entrepreneurial site at all), or they have created an Instagram page but have problems with regularity, they simply feel they have nothing to share with the world, but many are content with word of mouth.

Which has worked really well so far, because people have been talking

The rules on the crown virus have pushed people towards the internet. They have to do a lot more online (at least compared to before): shopping, banking, exercising and a lot of things that used to be a matter of course to do, you had to go and be there.

Therefore, the business that has been thinking that they need a website, is soon faced with the fact that "They need a website and/or a webshop NOW!" because their customers will not be coming to the shop for a while, but they still want to buy.

So with mad speed you hit up Google and type in "website design". You'll then be confronted with a staggering amount of articles, blogs and YouTube videos, which, let's face it, can quickly leave you with no idea where to start learning.

I know how it feels. That's how I started it myself

The more I read on the subject, the clearer it became for you that there are many options to choose from. The question is simply "what is my real purpose in creating a website? Are you an influencer and want to blog?

Are you a local artist who makes handcrafted products and would like to have a virtual gallery where you can organise and present your products to potential customers? Maybe you want to sell them and need a webshop?

At Flybuilt, we've been created to make it as easy as possible for you to get online, so you can focus on the things you really want to do. If you're open and determined, we'll do our best to help you get there as soon as possible.

We know you work hard for your dreams, but sometimes you need help. Let's create your own website together and give your business wings!
